Inside a Salt Geode

I had a great honor of visiting this crystal cave in Poland with Spanish crystal cave explorer Juan Manuel Garcia-Ruiz in 2013 when we were attending the 17th International Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy. The crystals are salt, NaCl and line the entire inside of a cherished cave in the Wieliczka Salt Mine. An absolutely incredible experience!!
