Hand-thrown Pottery by Emily Asenath-Smith
I have a studio at my home, which is on a hill in the forest in Norwich, VT. The entrance is graced by double French doors, which both open and help to integrate my space with nature.
I have a well-equipped studio with tables, slab roller, wheels, and electric kilns in different sizes. I have ventilation hood fan over my workbench, where my son likes to solder circuit boards amidst my creations. I also have an externally vented system for my large oval kiln. Being focused on wheel-thrown pots, I have a variety of wheels. Below is my treadle wheel, which I built with my uncle, EK Fine Furniture in 1997.
